Here at Hoops, we've looked for ways to do our bit for the environment. In our journey towards being a green small business, we couldn't go past Hero Packaging for all our packaging needs. 

From fully Compostable Shipping Mailer bags and Innerhero Home Compostable Garment Bags, to the smaller Aquahero Water Soluble bags used for our accessories, Hero Packaging has everything we need to ensure we're doing our best to reduce the use and contribution of unwanted and unnecessary plastics.

 

 

 

HOW DO YOU RECYCLE THE MAILER BAGS?

To compost them at home, remove any labels, cut them up and place in your compost bin as “brown” materials.

These will completely break down within 90-120 days in a home-compostable environment - sometimes even sooner!

 

HOW DO YOU RECYCLE THE AQUAHERO BAGS?

The Aquahero bags literally dissolve in boiling water! 

All you need to do is cut off the adhesive strip, boil some water and then mix the bag through until its completely gone. The material and non-toxic, water based ink ensure the bag is marine safe, leaving no nasty, toxic leftovers once the bag dissolves into the water. 

If there are any chunks or residue that are hanging around, just add more boiling water and watch it disappear. 

From there, chuck it in your plants or pour it down the sink!
